Marketing Director, Non-profit, Volunteer
RPG Research currently has an important opening for a non-profit Volunteer Marketing Director. We are looking for someone that is passionate about improving our organization's brand through marketing and media presence.
We are looking for candidates that are excited about what we are doing as an organization to help improve lives around the world.
THIS OPPORTUNIITY CAN BE 100% REMOTE WORK, VERY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE.
VOLUNTEER, UNPAID POSITION FOR 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT.
MARKETING STUDENTS,INTERNS, & EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS WELCOMED.
The Marketing Manager will:
Develop and implement a Marketing Strategy Plan
Plan and develop a Marketing Department
Recruit additional volunteers necessary to build an effective volunteer-run Marketing Department.
Engage and schedule news and media engagement opportunities.
Contact news and media outlets to expand the reach of our brand and raise greater global awareness about our organization's research, training, convention, volunteer, & community programs.
Attend one meeting per week (1-4 hours).
Supervise staff updating our media and social media presence.
Supervise writing our monthly newsletters to opt-in subscribers in compliance with international laws.
Supervise updates to our news and/or blog sections of our website(s) periodically.
Post announcement highlights about our events, videos, publications, & other media releases.
Schedule key interviews/panels/events with our leadership staff.
This volunteer position typically required between 5-10 hours per week.
Though our offices and studios are primarily located in Spokane, WA, this position can be 100% remote work.
Our primary website is: https://www.rpgresearch.com, but we have more than a dozen other related sites relevant to this position and our organization.

At least 1 year experience writing for web-based news or blog site.
At least 6 months experience with all of the social media organizations we use (personal or otherwise):

Advanced training, certification, or degree in marketing or related fields.
3 years experience with business and/or community based social media (personal social media experience does NOT count).
3 years experience writing for web-based news or blog site.
3 years experience with the above listed social media platforms.
